How about a bit of family / neighbourhood  fun - why not have a potato growing competion. Choose the same size pot (I would suggest somethinmg about 12-14" across by 12-14" deep. Each plant 1 potato of the same variety, care for them over the spring / summer and then about mid-July harvest your tub and see who has the most / heaviest potatoes. Who will be crowned Champion!
