Pinch out tomatoes
Pinch out the tops of tomatoes once they reach the greenhouse roof, removing the stem to just above the topmost pair of leaves. This concentrates the plant's energy on ripening tomatoes rather than producing more growth skywards. Keep removing sideshoots, too, snapping them from the joint between stem and leaf.
