Deutzia delights
Deutzia are among the easiest shrubs to grow, so smothered in gorgeous flowers in early summer they attract bees and butterflies from miles around. Now that dazzling display is over, give the shrub a prune to keep it youthful and healthy, pruning out up to a third of the oldest branches right down to the ground.
