Amazing autumn colour
Plant autumn-flowering bulbs to make a gorgeous show of colour in September and October. Autumn crocus (Colchicum) flowers straight out of the ground and have huge, goblet-shaped pink or purple flowers: Nerine bowdenii makes massive drumsticks in lipstick pink and enjoys baking against a south-facing wall.
